Scarves & ties have been washed in the finishing process, as have the handbag fronts.

Scarves – light and medium weight silks.

Wash by hand, using warm water with a gentle detergent for silk or wool.
Use a dash of fabric conditioner in the final rinse.
Wring gently in a rolled towel, before drying by ironing with a cool steam iron.

Rust like marks ?

If you have ever experienced brown ‘rust like’ marks on silk scarves, it is because perfume has accidentally been sprayed on to the silk. The acidity in the perfume has burned the delicate silk fibers. This can be avoided by applying your perfume first, and letting dry for a moment, before putting the scarf on.

Infinity Snood Scarf Warm Textured Silk – medium to heavy weight silks.

Wash by hand, using warm water with a gentle detergent for silk or wool. Use a dash of fabric conditioner in the final rinse. Wring gently in a rolled towel, before leaving to dry. Iron with a medium steam iron.

Garments.

Treat the same as for a scarf. You may prefer to let the silk ‘drip dry’, if so iron before the garment gets ‘bone dry’.
